The invention relates to a novel flame-retardant material for polyvinyl chloride resin. The novel flame-retardant material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight of 100 parts ofprepared ammonium polyphosphate which is difficult to separate out, 5 to 15 parts of aluminum hydroxide, 10 to 20 parts of calcium carbonate, 4 to 12 parts of biscyclopentadienyl iron, 3 to 9 parts ofricinolate amides propyl trimethyl ammonium chloridericinoleamidopropyltrimonium chloride, and 0.5 to 1.5 parts of 4-(succinylaminosuccinimido)phenylboronic acid pinacol ester. The prepared novel flame-retardant material has the advantages that the flame-retardant effect is stable, and the releasing amount of flue gas and the amount of harmful gas released in the combustion process of polyvinyl chloride are reduced.
