According to the present invention, a first estimation unit 44 estimates, on the basis of an image that shows the surroundings of a predetermined target and that is acquired from an imaging device, the position and/or orientation of the target, and generates an estimation result that does not include a cumulative error. A second estimation unit 46 estimates, on the basis of the image, the positionand/or orientation of the target, and generates an estimation result that includes a cumulative error. A correction unit 50 compares the estimation result from the first estimation unit 44 with the estimation result from the second estimation unit 46, and corrects, on the basis of the comparison result, an estimation result, which is generated by the second estimation unit 46 subsequently to theestimation result used for the comparison. An app execution unit 38 executes predetermined data processing on the basis of the estimation result, from the second estimation unit 46, corrected by the correction unit 50.
