The invention discloses a method for accessing terminal equipment by a power distribution terminal data acquisition platform based on NIO. The method overcomes defects that each client link corresponds with a sub-thread and the sub-thread requires maintaining and establishing of data exchange in traditional multi-thread communication. Restriction of terminal accessing scale by the number of computer creatable threads is prevented. Route management is performed on a client (terminal equipment) through the selector of the NIO, and each link state is polled at different time through the selector,thereby realizing a first-accessing and later-processing mode. A large number of terminal links can be managed through one or a plurality of threads. Furthermore the method has advantages of greatlyincreasing the upper limit of the number of the terminals which access the single server, reducing requirement for server hardware performance by system, improving program stability, greatly improvingreliability and sustainability in accessing large-scale power distribution terminals, and realizing good application prospect.
