Provided is a method for horizontal display of longitudinal data of a simulation system history database. According to the method, two buffer areas and four modules are included and are (1) a longitudinal data buffer area which generates a longitudinal data storage space for each to-be-monitored variable, (2) a horizontal data buffer area which generates a horizontal data storage space for each to-be-monitored variable, (3) a data extraction module which acquires data from the history database and fills the longitudinal data buffer area with the data, (4) a buffer filling module which adds data to the longitudinal data buffer area when the to-be-processed buffer area margin of a certain variable in the longitudinal data buffer area is insufficient, (5) a data conversion module which converts horizontal data into longitudinal data and stores the longitudinal data in the horizontal data buffer area, and (6) a horizontal data presentation module which assigns data of the horizontal data buffer area to a presentation system that uses the horizontal data. The method for horizontal display of longitudinal data of the simulation system history database has the advantages of clear structure, visual description, strong operability, low time complexity and low space complexity.
