The invention provides an industrial production method of trichloro(3-chloropropyl)silane. A trichloro(3-chloropropyl)silane addition reaction coarse product is used as reaction substrates; the raw material reactants of chloropropene and trichlorosilane and low-boiling-point substances obtained through distilling former kettle of addition reaction coarse products are subjected to mixed feeding andreact at 85 to 155 DEG C; after the reaction is completed, partial low-boiling-point substances are distilled out; finally, the addition reaction coarse products are subjected to rectification to obtain the trichloro(3-chloropropyl)silane product. Catalysts used in the method comprise a main catalyst and a cocatalyst, wherein the main catalyst is chloroplatinic acid mixed with alcohol, and is preferably isopropanol; the cocatalyst is dimethylformamide compounds RCO(CH3)2, wherein the R is H or alkyl group containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms; preferably, the R is H or methyl; more preferably, theR is methyl. The method provided by the invention has the advantages that the production and operation are simple and convenient; the addition byproducts are few; the yield of the product of the trichloro(3-chloropropyl)silane is high. The reaction addition is preferably performed under the sealed condition.
