The invention discloses a multimodal wheelchair brain control system and method based on a cloud platform. The multimodal wheelchair brain control system totally includes three modals to achieve parallel control on a wheelchair; the first modal is motion imagination control, the second modal is steady state vision induction control, and the third modal is voice control. In the aspect of monitoringof the cloud platform, by automatically putting up an MYSQL server, electroencephalogram data of a user and the running conditions of the wheelchair are monitored. A GSM module is carried on an FPGAthrough a serial port, and data is uploaded to the server through 4G network or WIFI. When the user logs in to a webpage which is independently developed by JSP+HTML+CSS, the wheelchair and the user conditions can be remotely monitored.
