The invention belongs to the technical field of power grid patrol, and particularly relates to a power dispatching monitoring and processing method. According to the power dispatching monitoring and processing method provided by the invention, a multi-layer image processing method is adopted, so that the number of video frames can be reduced fully and the video volume can be reduced on the premiseof ensuring the effect influencing book patrol, and repeated and excessive pictures are eliminated. Meanwhile, the video volume is further reduced according to an element to be detected; the data size of a video needing to be browsed is reduced; the video patrol efficiency is increased; and the desired data size is reduced.
