The invention relates to a linear speed adjusting method of a copper wire drawing machine. The linear speed adjusting method comprises the following steps that (1), linear speeds of a plurality of guide wheels are measured correspondingly; (2), the measured linear speeds are sent to a control device; (3), when the linear speeds of the plurality of guide wheels are inconsistent, the control devicereceives signals of the linear speeds of all the guide wheels and sends a first control signal to driving devices of the guide wheels; (4) the driving devices of the plurality of guide wheels are usedfor adjusting the linear speeds of the guide wheels according to the first control signal sent by the control device; (5) when the linear speeds of the plurality of guide wheels are consistent, the control device receives signals of the linear speeds of all the guide wheels and sends a second control signal to the driving devices of the guide wheels; and (6) the driving devices of the plurality of guide wheels are used for keeping the current linear speeds of the guide wheels according to the second control signal sent by the control device. According to the method, the linear speed of each guide wheel can be adjusted in real time, and the phenomenon that copper wires are loosened or broken due to the fact that the linear speeds of the guide wheels are not consistent is avoided.
