A connecting member of a reinforcing steel bar is disclosed. The connecting member includes a connecting base, a connecting column and a connecting pressing head. The connecting base has a two-end cut-through structure, and is provided with an internal thread and an internal stair inside. The connecting column is disposed in the connecting base. One end of the connecting column is provided with aninternal screw hole connected to the reinforcing steel bar, and has an end surface abutted against the internal stair, and the other end of the connecting column is provided with a raised part. The connecting pressing head includes a nut part and a stud. Insides of the nut part and the stud are provided with inner screw holes capable of being connected to and communicated with the reinforcing bar. The raised part is inserted into the inner screw holes. The stud is threaded to the internal thread of the connecting base, and the bottom end surface of the stud is abutted against the end surfaceof the connecting column. The periphery of the connecting base is provided with external corners matched with a wrench. The connecting member has an advantage of capability of increasing the connecting efficiency of the reinforcing steel bar and enhancing strength after connection.
