The invention relates to the technical field of lightning detection, in particular to a method for calibrating a transient waveform response of an impact heavy-current point sound source of a thundersensor. The method comprises: step one, carrying out transient waveform response calibration of a point sound source; to be specific, adjusting an impact heavy-current discharging waveform, and calibrating transient responses of discharge point sources with different waveforms of a thunder sensor; step two, carrying out point sound source energy response calibration; to be specific, adjusting impact heavy-current discharge energy and calibrating transient responses of different energy discharge point sources of the thunder sensor; step three, carrying out point sound source distance attenuation response calibration; to be specific, adjusting a detection distance and calibrating transient responses of the thunder sensor at different distances; and step four, defining a point sound source transient-response waveform characteristic parameters and acquiring a calibration curve of changing of the transient-response waveform characteristic parameters of the thunder sensor with the point source discharge waveform, the point sound source discharge energy, and the detection distance. Therefore, with the method for calibrating transient-response multi-characteristic parameters of the impactheavy-current point sound source of the thunder sensor, the basis is provided for quantitative monitoring of the thunder sensor.
