The invention discloses a manufacturing technology for an automobile hub. The manufacturing technology comprises the steps of S10, heating an aluminum alloy blank, keeping the constant temperature of200-250 DEG C for 2-3 hours, continuously carrying out heating after the material temperature is uniform, carrying out heating at the medium temperature of 400-550 DEG C, keeping the temperature for 1-2 hours, continuously carrying out heating to reach the forging temperature of 600-650 DEG C, keeping the temperature for 3-5 hours and carrying out discharging; S20, carrying out upsetting and chamfering treatment on the heated blank for multiple times and putting the blank into a lower mold; S30, punching the blank by using a punch on an upper mold so as to enable the blank to fill the whole lower mold, then lifting the punch and carrying out punching for multiple times so as to complete a hub blank; S40, taking down the hub blank from the lower mold after punching is completed and carryingout cooling treatment; and S50, carrying out grinding and machining treatment on the cooled hub blank. According to the technology, the forging precision can be improved, raw materials can be saved,and the production cost can be lowered.
