The invention provides a sodium-ion battery anode material with a P2 phase-Li2MnO3 phase composite stratified structure and a preparation method thereof. The chemical component constitution of the material is NaxLiyMnaCobNicO2, and the material has characteristic diffraction strong peaks at positions of 15.9 degrees, 39.7 degrees and 49.2 degrees in an XRD atlas. The preparation method comprises the steps of adding each metal salt and a combustion improver into water, carrying out combustion in a reactor so as to obtain a precursor, finally carrying out thermal treatment on the precursor at 800-950 DEG C, and carrying out furnace cooling to the room temperature. The material discloses by the invention is an Li2MnO3/Na-P phase coexisting composite structure stratified material and is capable of effectively improving the cycling stability and rate capability of an Na-P phase; and by changing the components and the thermal treatment temperature, the orientation regulation and control of crystal surfaces (102) and (104) of an Na-P phase material can be realized, and the performance of the material can be optimized.
