The invention relates to a copper wire annealing method. The annealing method comprises the steps that (1), the temperature in an annealing pot is increased to 100-150 DEG C to enable the humidity inthe annealing pot to be reduced; (2), a copper wire is arranged in the annealing pot, the annealing pot is sealed, vacuumizing is carried out, and then the protective gas is injected; (3), the annealing pot is heated and then is annealed; (4), after annealing is completed, the copper wire in the annealing pot is placed into a cooling tank; and (5), the cooled copper wire undergoes water cooling. According to the copper wire annealing method, the copper wire can be annealed and cooled under the protective gas, and then undergoes water cooling, so that color change and blackening caused by oxidation of the copper wire are greatly reduced.
