The invention provides a rotary electric motor which has an approximate-perfect-round stator core. The rotary electric motor is provided with a stator, which has a frame and a stator core (10) which is embedded in an embedding portion of the frame. The stator core (10) is a laminated iron core having a plurality of iron core edges (20), which are fixed rivetingly in a plurality of riveting portions (22) in a lamianted structure. The riveting portions (22) are non-uniformly arranged in the circumferential direction.
