The invention discloses a preparation method of a Ti3C2-Co(OH)(CO3)0.5 nano-composite material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: selectively corroding an Al layer of ternary Ti3AlC2 ceramic powder in a 40wt% HF solution, so as to form a two-dimensional lamellar Ti3C2 nano-material; uniformly stirring by taking the two-dimensional Ti3C2 nano-material as a matrix, Co(NO3)2.6H2Oas a cobalt source and Co(NH2)2 as a precipitator, carrying out in-situ growth on the mixed solution at 80-85 DEG C by virtue of a hydrothermal method, so as to successfully prepare a Ti3C2@Co(OH)(CO3)0.5 nano-composite material with multiple shapes; and assembling the Ti3C2@Co(OH)(CO3)0.5 nano-composite material into a supercapacitor with a three-electrode system, wherein Ti3C2-Co(OH)(CO3)0.5 represents good electrochemical performance. According to the method, the experiment process is simple, the cost is low, environment-friendly, the shapes of Ti3C2-Co(OH)(CO3)0.5 are easily controlled, and the foundation is laid for the application of Ti3C2-Co(OH)(CO3)0.5 in the fields of supercapacitors and lithium ion batteries.
