The receiving vessel (21) includes position-securing means (31) which are designed to enter into a mechanical engagement with the weighing pan or load receiver (33) of the balance (40) when the receiving vessel (21) is set on the weighing pan orload receiver (33), in order to ensure a secure placement of the receiving vessel (21) in a defined, reproducible position on the weighing pan or load receiver (33).
