The invention relates to the technical field of textile and discloses a production method of bamboo fibers. The method comprises the following steps: 1) selecting material: selecting new robust and straight 3-4 year-age bamboos with bright colors and comprising following raw material including 1-10 parts by weight of pseudosasa amabilis, 1-8 parts by weight of moso bamboos, 1-5 parts by weight ofcany bamboos, 1-10 parts by weight of neosinocalamus affinis and 1-12 parts by weight of phyllostachys pubescens; 2) primarily processing material: pruning selected bamboo wood with a pair of garden shears, removing branches and bamboo leaves of bamboos to leave main bamboo stem for stand-by use. The production method of bamboo fibers helps avoid poor quality of produced bamboo fibers in the essence of material selection by limiting material selection in the respects of water content of material, the content of bamboo fibers of material, years of material and material ratio. Therefore, requirements of textile fibers for thicknesses, lengths, hardness, uniformity, fineness, strength and other indices are met. The problem that composite material and non woven material cannot be prepared is resolved.
