The invention discloses a simulation method and device of a power system. The method includes acquiring power operation data of a target user, wherein the power operation data includes power grid configuration in the target user and a power operation line; acquiring a plurality of part models, wherein the part models are part models corresponding to parts included in the power configuration in thetarget user in a preset template base, the preset template base includes a plurality of part model base and each part model base contains a plurality of part models of a power supply system correspondingly; utilizing the part models to create a power supply system model corresponding to the target user; and simulating the operation state of the power system through the power supply system model.The invention solves a technical problem of non-ideal effect in training of power maintenance workers of the target user due to low simulation degree in related art.
