The invention discloses a BOPP aluminizing base film and a production method thereof, and belongs to the field of production of BOPP films. The aluminizing base film comprises a surface layer 1, a surface layer 2 and a core layer, and the surface layer 1 comprises 98 wt% of a heat sealing material and 2 wt% of an anti-adhesion agent; the surface layer 2 comprises 95.5 wt% of PP, 2.5 wt% of the anti-adhesion agent and 2 wt% of a slipping agent; and the core layer comprises 78.9 wt% of PP, 20 wt% of a pearlescent master batch and 1.1 wt% of an antistatic agent. The BOPP aluminizing base film hasa thickness of 22 [mu]m and has good flatness, an aluminum film obtained after aluminizing the base film has uniform surface and good homogeneity, has a dealumination rate being not more than 1%, realizes the aluminized layer fastness being 99% or more, does not shed, and can be used to package high-end products, and the aluminizing base film has the advantages of wide market prospect, simple production method and facilitation of promotion and utilization.
