The invention relates to the technical field of direct-drive wind generating sets, and especially relates to a direct-drive wind generating set high voltage ride through control method. The direct-drive wind generating set high voltage ride through control method comprises detecting grid connection point voltage and DC bus voltage; calculating the difference between power grid voltage and rated voltage, if the difference is within 10%, carrying out control by means of a unity power factor with reactive current being zero; if the difference is higher than 10% and smaller than 20%, calculating areactive current reference value through a provided reactive current calculation formula or setting the reactive current reference value according to a power grid dispatching instruction, then calculating an active current reference value according to the reactive current reference value and the capacity of a grid-side inverter; if the difference is higher than 10%, emitting a blocking signal, and cutting off the wind generating set. During the grid voltage rise period, unbalanced energy at the DC side is absorbed by a super-capacitor. According to the invention, the direct-drive wind generating set can operate in a fault ride-through manner during the grid voltage rise period, and the working stability of the direct-drive wind generating set can be improved.
