The invention discloses a lithium battery safety protection method based on temperature detection, which includes steps of: during charge/discharge of a lithium battery pack, acquiring the temperatureof lithium battery blocks in the lithium battery pack, and counting the number N of lithium battery blocks, of which the temperature is higher than a preset temperature value, among the lithium battery blocks in the lithium battery pack, and comparing the N with preset number threshold M; when N is not less than M, cooling the lithium battery blocks, of which the temperature is higher than the preset temperature value, in the lithium battery pack; and when N is less than M, changing the positions of the lithium battery blocks, of which the temperature is higher than the preset temperature value, among the lithium battery blocks in the lithium battery pack to the lithium battery blocks, of which the temperature is less than the preset temperature value, among the lithium battery blocks inthe lithium battery pack.
