The invention provides a method for calculating the energy consumption of a motor system based on a genetic algorithm. The method includes the steps of using the genetic algorithm to correct a presetenergy consumption calculation model, and obtaining a corrected energy consumption calculation model; and using the corrected energy consumption calculation model to calculate the energy consumption of the motor system according to actually-measured operating data. According to the method for calculating the energy consumption of the motor system based on the genetic algorithm, the preset energy consumption calculation model is corrected by utilizing the genetic algorithm, and then the corrected energy consumption calculation model is used to calculate the energy consumption of the motor system according to the actually-measured operating data; by utilizing the genetic algorithm to identify an energy consumption parameter, identification results being trapped in a local optimal solution can be avoided, the identification accuracy can be improved, and motor system energy consumption calculation and prediction results are more accurate.
