The present invention relates to a flow control element and sanitary shower. The invention is based on a flow control element (11) and a sanitary shower that can be equipped with the flow control element. The flow control element according to the invention comprises a control body (12) formed by a plurality of tab planes (121, 122,..) contiguous with one another in the axial direction (AR) and filling the passage cross section of the control body perpendicular to the axial direction.
