The invention provides an access panel operation mechanism and a train control console with same. The access panel operation mechanism is arranged on the control console for opening or closing the flip access panel on the top of the control console, and comprises a slide rail which is arranged at the rear part of the control console and extends along the height direction of the control console, apositioning slide block which is arranged on the slide rail in a sliding manner along the extending direction of the slide rail and is used for connecting the flip access panel, and a drive mechanismwhich is connected with the flip access panel in a driving manner so as to drive the flip access panel to make flip motion and enable the flip access panel to slide along the slide rail under the effect of the positioning slide block. The access panel operation mechanism can be used for solving the problem that the movable cover plate of a train control console in the prior art is difficult to open.
