The invention relates to the technical field of electric power acquisition terminals, and in particular to an electric power acquisition terminal-based operation parameter adaptation method. The method comprises the following steps of: S1, establishing an index table in a system physical area, and recording attribute features of stored parameters of the current system, wherein the attribute features comprise parameter pronouns and parameter storage addresses; S2, carrying out system updating or upgrading, and after start and before normal operation of a new system, comparing all the parametersin the new system with the attribute feature of each parameter in the index table established in the step S1; and S3, repeating the step S2 until all the parameters in the new system are compared completely, taking out data stored in a parameter temporary storage area and covering the data to an original parameter area. According to the method, original parameters of new systems can be compatibleand combined.
