Provided is a power transmission cable enabling excellent cable end preparation. The insulating layer 12 comprises an insulating resin composition that includes, as a base resin, a sulfur-crosslinked ethylene propylene rubber, and the external semiconductive layer 13 comprises a semiconductive resin composition that includes, as a base resin, a resin which has different polarity from that of the ethylene propylene rubber and which is crosslinked with a crosslinking agent having a different crosslinking system from that of sulfur.
