The application relates to an electric power optical cable state intelligent monitoring device comprising a box body with a top lid; a monitoring circuit is arranged in the box body; the monitoring circuit comprises a single-chip microcomputer, a positioning communication module, an ultrasonic range finding emission circuit and an ultrasonic range finding receiving circuit; the ultrasonic range finding emission circuit is connected with an ultrasonic range finding emission sensor; the ultrasonic range finding receiving circuit is connected with an ultrasonic range finding receiving sensor; theultrasonic range finding emission sensor and the ultrasonic range finding receiving sensor are arranged on the bottom surface of the box body; a wire clip duct is arranged in the center of the top lid, and buckled with an optical cable hoop; the top lid on two sides of the optical cable hoop is paved by a solar cell film; power supply contacts of the solar cell film extend into the box body and are connected with the monitoring circuit. The monitoring device can measure the optical cable operation environment temperature, clearance to ground, and the optical cable position information, uses amobile network to monitor the optical cable operation state information in real time, and can remind passing vehicles to keep a sufficient safe distance from the optical cable.
