The invention relates to an automatic detection method for narrow-band power line carrier modules of a single-phase electric energy meter. The following steps are sequentially executed; firstly, feeding is performed; secondly, a detection module sequentially detects all products in a circulating box, and if bad products are detected, the positions of the bad products are calibrated; thirdly, afterdetection of the modules in the whole box is completed, the modules flow into a discharging conveying line; fourthly, when a next box reaches, a manipulator grabs bad products, and the next box is filled with qualified products in a supplementing manner, and then the circulating box filled with products flows to a stacking machine; and after stacking of the stacking machine achieves a set number,a warehousing discharging system transports the modules back to a warehouse to be stored. The method fills up the blank of metering and automatic production, warehousing and logistics, and testing ofstage grid carrier modules, the carrier replacement time among various procedures can be saved, time waste caused by equipment wire changing is avoided, the detection equipment cost is substantiallysaved, the space utilizing rate is increased, the procedure that the modules go out of the box and enter the box is avoided, manual participation is reduced, and the product detection efficiency can be substantially improved.
