The cable end is suitable for an AC and DC power system and belongs to the technical field of high-voltage cable accessory design. The cable end comprises a cable end main body, a cable conductor connection fitting and a sealing cap, wherein the cable end main body is connected with an overhead circuit via the cable conductor connection fitting, the sealing cap is arranged at an end part, near to the cable conductor connection fitting, of the cable end main body, in the cable end main body, a silicone rubber insulation seat and a silicone rubber insulation cluster parachute jointly form an integrated structure, the silicone rubber insulation seat of the cable end mainbody is of a tubular structure, a non-linear conductive pre-fabricated rubber pressure-control tube is further arranged in the silicone rubber insulation seat and is in contact with a cut of a cable insulation shielding layer, and the pressure-control tube is formed by combining zinc oxide ceramic powder particle and silicone rubber. By the cable end, the problem of field intensity concentration of the cut of the cable insulation shielding layer is solved, the long-term reliability of the power cable system is improved, and the cable terminal accessory structure is simplified.
