The invention relates to a strengthened and toughened antibacterial polypropylene material as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The strengthened and toughened antibacterial polypropylene material consists of the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 54-87.7% of polypropylene, 0.5-5% of an inorganic antibacterial agent, 10-30% of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene master batch, 1-8% of grafted polypropylene, 0.2-1% of a stabilizer, 0.2-1% of a dispersant and 0.4-1% of an antioxidant. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing master batch from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, and further performing high-speed mixing extrusion on the surface modified inorganic antibacterial agent, polypropylene, the ultra high molecular weight polyethylene master batch and the grafted polypropylene, thereby obtaining the polypropylene composite material which is high in strength, good in toughness and good in antibacterial property. On premise that the polypropylene is excellent in antibacterial activity because of the inorganic antibacterial agent, the polypropylene is strengthened and toughened through organic super-long chain macromolecules. Therefore, the polypropylene material provided by the invention is not only excellent in antibacterial property, but also outstanding in mechanical property.
