The invention provides a division-combination position determining device and method capable of recognizing a contact state for a disconnecting switch. The device is mounted at the bottom of a contactcompression spring of a disconnecting switch moving contact, a disconnecting switch static contact is located between two contact fingers of the disconnecting switch moving contact, and the contact compression spring is connected between the contact fingers and a base plate of the disconnecting switch moving contact. The device comprises a processor as well as an emitting antenna, a temperature sensor and a pressure sensor which are connected with the processor, wherein the pressure sensor is mounted at a position in contact with the contact compression spring and is used for measuring the pressure of the contact compression spring, and the temperature sensor is used for measuring the temperature of the contact part and determining a division-combination position of the disconnecting switch and determining whether the contact state is good according to the pressure of the contact compression spring of the disconnecting switch and the temperature of the contacts. According to the device, the problem that a semi-combination state of the disconnecting switch cannot be determined by virtue of an existing division-combination position determining method for the disconnecting switch issolved, the determining accuracy and comprehensiveness of the division-combination position of the disconnecting switch are improved, and the device is of an important significance to the safe and stable operation of power grid equipment.
