The resonant suppression methodcomprises the steps of compensating the active power filter according to a set compensation parameter; detecting a compensation effect in real time, and detecting a resonant frequency point in a current power distribution network again if resonance is amplified to exceed a set value; and updating a compensation parameter according to the newly-detected resonant frequency point, and compensating the active power filter according to the updated compensation parameter. The compensation parameter is determined again by detecting the compensation effect according to change of a resonant point, thecompensation bandwidth is changed in real time, manual setting is not needed, and resonance is prevented as well as the compensation effect of the active power filter is ensured.
