The method comprises the following steps: preparing a mixed powder by alpha-aluminium oxide and gamma-aluminium oxide; mixing aluminum sulfate with an ammonium chloride solution to prepare a mixed liquid, mixing the mixed powder with the mixed liquid, adding an additive, drying at a temperature of 200 to 300 DEG C, treating at a temperature of 600 to 800 DEG C, holding and treating at a temperature of 1200 to 1300 DEG C for a short time. The content of AlN in the prepared ceramic powder reaches to 83.12 to 92.13%, and the quality of the ceramic powder is improved; the performance of ceramic is excellent after the ceramic powder is used for preparing the AlN ceramic.
