The invention discloses a DC power spring topology and a control method thereof. The DC power spring topology fuses a three-port converter with a bidirectional DC converter. Each port of a three-portDC/DC converter is connected in parallel with a filter capacitor and a full-bridge converter. One output end of each full-bridge converter is connected to a filter inductor. Each filter inductor is connected in series with the corresponding winding of a three-port transformer. The port I of the three-port DC/DC converter is connected in parallel with the output end of a new energy generator. The port II of the three-port DC/DC converter is connected in parallel with a non-critical load RNC. The port III of the three-port DC/DC converter is connected in parallel with a critical load RC and is connected in parallel with one end of the bidirectional DC/DC converter. The other end of the bidirectional DC/DC converter is connected with a storage battery pack. The DC power spring topology can avoid the series connection of the non-critical load and the DC power spring so as to solve the common defects of a conventional power spring topology.
