The invention discloses construction methods and an application of Corynebacterium glutamicum recombinant strains for producing L-rare sugars, provides methods for synthesizing the L-rare sugars by using glucose and small-molecular compounds as substrates, and relates to the construction methods of the multiple Corynebacterium glutamicum recombinant strains and the application of the recombinant strains in the fermenting synthesis of the L-rare sugars. The fermenting synthesis of L-fructose, L-tagatose, L-sorbose, and L-psicose by using glucose and glycerol as substrates and the fermenting synthesis of L-rhamnulose, L-fucose, 6-deoxy-L-sorbose and 6-deoxy-L-psicose by using the glucose and 1,2-propylene glycol or L-lactic acid as substrates are achieved. Compared with existing bio-transformation method for synthesizing the L-rare sugar, the above application effectively reduces the production cost of the L-rare sugars; and the obtained L-rare sugars can be applied to the fields of foods, medicines, cosmetics and the like.
