One or more embodiments of the invention provide a page display method and device for an application program (APP), equipment and a storage medium. According to one embodiment, the method comprises the steps that a font file stored under a designated directory of the APP is converted into a font object, and the font object is written into a memory, wherein the font object comprises character codesand character icons corresponding to the character codes; at least one character display control associated with the font file in the APP is determined; and when an APP page containing the associatedcharacter display controls is displayed, characters on the character display controls are displayed as the character icons corresponding to the character codes of the characters based on the font object in the memory.
