The invention discloses a time-space characteristic-based public bike IC card and metro IC card matching method. The method comprises the following steps of: 1) obtaining original data of public bikeIC cards and metro IC cards, and extracting valid data information from the original data; 2) selecting public bike stations adjacent to metro stations so as to form metro-public bike station pairs; 3) preprocessing data of the public bike IC cards and the metro IC cards according to the metro-public bike station pairs; 4) carrying out paired association on card numbers under different interchangemanners according to interchange time intervals, constructing a card number pair database and getting rid of wrong data in the database; and 5) carrying out ascending sorting on the residual card number pairs and selecting the card number pairs which accord with appointed characteristics so as to complete the matching. The method is capable of correctly and efficiently matching public bike IC cards and metro IC cards, so as to lay a solid foundation for a series of researches of connection between public bikes and metros.
