The method comprises the following steps that: an electric heating monitoring terminal packages acquired data and uploads the packaged datato a heating operation management platform to store at predetermined time intervals; under the situation that the electric heating monitoring terminal fails, the electric heating monitoring terminalstops acquiring data, receives data issued by the heating operation management platform, and takes the data issued by the heating operation management platform as data acquired before a failure; and under the situation that the failure of the electric heating monitoring terminal is recovered, the electric heating monitoring terminal recovers data acquisition, and merges data acquired after failurerecovery and the data acquired before the failure. Through adoption of the data processing method and device, the technical problem that the accuracy of data acquired by an intelligent monitoring terminal of electric heating equipment is relatively low since the data of the intelligent monitoring terminal of the electric heating equipment cannot be automatically recovered, linked and summarized before and after an abnormal working state in the prior art is solved.
