A printing screen frame holding device according to the present invention is structured such that a tensioning operation portion and an elevating operation portion, which operate successively at an interval of a few seconds by means of adjustment of the rate of supply of air pressure by an orifice, are all installed on a quadrangular frame body-shaped frame holding means that comprises a combination of multiple mounting frames and corner pieces, without any separate mechanism or an additional component. Therefore, the printing screen frame holding device according to the present invention hasthe following advantages: the inner peripheral area of the mounting frames is not reduced by the width of an auxiliary support table as in the case of the prior art, making it possible to maximize theprinting area of the printing screen, and making it unnecessary to replace the frame holding means; there is no need to separately install an additional assembly comprising an auxiliary support table, an elevating cylinder, a speed valve, a feeding, a solenoid, a tube, and the like in order to separately operate the elevating operation portion as in the case of the prior art; and operations can be simplified when the printing screen unit is attached/detached (replaced) such that erroneous operations are minimized, mounting is facilitated by reducing the volume and weight, and the manufacturing cost can be lowered.
