The electric vehicle charging method comprises the steps of identifying the type of a charged vehicle, determining the number of power modules current allocated for high priority vehicles, determining the number of the corresponding demand power modules of each high priority vehicle, sequentially allocating the power modules for each high priority vehicle through an ergodic mode, determining the number of power modules allocated for low priority vehicles, determining the number of the corresponding demand power module of each low priority vehicle, sequentially allocating the power module for each low priority vehicle through the ergodic mode, and determining outputcurrent for each of the high priority vehicles and the lower priority vehicles according to the number of the power modules allocated to each high priority vehicle and each lower priority vehicle. According to the electric vehicle charging method, energy allocating can be conducted on the charged vehicle based on the priority of the vehicle, and orderly charging of multiple charged vehicles can be reasonably coordinated.
