This corrosion prevention device for cut surfaces of a pipe is equipped with a nested double cylinder body 2 which is housed in an outer case 1 that is mounted so as to surround the outer peripheral surface of a water pipe K, the nested double cylinder body 2 being disposed from above the gap between a pair of cut surfaces 10 of the pipe formed by full cutting of the water pipe K. The double cylinder body 2 has: a corrosion prevention body 3 facing the pair of cut surfaces 10 of the pipe; and a core body 4 inserted into the corrosion prevention body 3 from above. The double cylinder body 2 isconfigured so that the insertion of the core body 4 into the corrosion prevention body 3 causes the corrosion prevention body 3 to expand, in diameter, to press contact with the pair of cut surfaces 10 of the pipe. The corrosion prevention body 3 comprises: a through hole 31 which communicates with the water pipe K; and a flange portion 35 which is located above the through hole 31 and overhangs outward. The flange portion 35 has an abutting surface which abuts on the outer peripheral surface of the water pipe K, the abutting surface being curved along the outer peripheral surface of the waterpipe K.
