The invention relates to a solar-cell back-side local metal contact method. The method comprises the following steps of 1) providing a mask film plate; 2) using the mask film plate to deposit a passive film on a back side of a silicon wafer and forming an electrode contact area and a passive area on the silicon wafer; and 3) forming a back electrode in the electrode contact area. By using the solar-cell back-side local metal contact method, a film does not need to be arranged on the back side of the silicon wafer, solar-cell back-side local metal contact can be realized and extra laser equipment does not need to be invested. Besides, patterns of the mask film plate can be selected freely so that an ideal local metal contact effect is guaranteed. The invention also provides a solar cell manufacturing method.
