The invention provides high-strength and high-toughness and weather-proof angle steel for an iron tower and a preparation method of the angle steel. The high-strength and high-toughness and weather-proof angle steel for the iron tower comprises the following components of, by weight, 0.05%-0.10% of C, 0.15%-0.40 of Si, 1.10%-1.50% of Mn, less than or equal to 0.020% of P, less than or equal to 0.005% of S, 0.40%-1.00% of Cr, 0.30%-0.40% of Ni, 0.30%-0.40% of Cu, larger than or equal to 0.015% of Als, 0.02%-0.07% of N, 0.01%-0.04% of Nb, 0.01%-0.05% of Ti, 0.03%-0.08% of V and the balance Fe. The invention further provides the preparation method of the high-strength and high-toughness and weather-proof angle steel for the iron tower. The high-strength and high-toughness and weather-proof angle steel for the iron tower and the preparation method of the angle steel have the advantages that through combined design of alloying elements, the hot-rolled weather-proof angle steel which is high in strength, low in temperature, high in toughness and atmospheric corrosion resistant is obtained, and the angle steel can be in batch production under the condition of existing angle steel production equipment.
