The invention relates to a clustering program dispatching method based on multi-dimension effectiveness merging. The method comprises the following steps of 1, obtaining idle resource information of each node in a cluster on five resource dimensions of a processor, magnetic disk reading/writing, a memory and the network bandwidth and periodically reporting the idle resource information on a current node to a predictor; 2, obtaining performances of a program on a single resource dimension under different resource limiting points respectively and fitting branch effectiveness functions to obtain a change function of the program for the performance on every resource dimension; 3, utilizing multi-dimension effectiveness merging to merge the branch effectiveness functions into a total effectiveness function, substituting the idle resource information in the step 1 into the total effectiveness function piece by piece to obtain a total effectiveness value and determining an optimal executing environment; 4, dispatching the program to the optimal executing environment.
