The novel thermal insulation coating is prepared from components by weight as follows: 16 parts of resin, 10 parts of deionized water, 10 parts of brucite fibers, 8 parts of titanium dioxide, 8 parts of calcium silicate powder, 7 parts of gypsum powder, 6 parts of polyoxyethylene ether, 4 parts of talcum powder, 4 parts of hollow glass beads, 4 parts of polyamide wax micropowder, 4 parts of activated carbon powder, 3 parts of water glass, 2 parts of a stabilizer, 2 parts of titanium dioxide, 2 parts of a dispersant, 2 parts of a thickener, 2 parts of a defoamer, 1 part of a wetting agent, 1 part of a surfactant, 1 part of a binder, 1 part of a flame retardant and 1 part of sodium silicate. The coating has the advantages that the raw materials are widely sourced, and the processing cost of the coating is reduced; by means of interaction and coordination of various components, the coating has good strength and toughness, thermal insulation performance of the coating is enhanced, scratch resistance of the surface of the coating is improved, and service life of the coating is prolonged.
