The invention discloses a solar photovoltaic cable sheath material. The solar photovoltaic cable sheath material is prepared from components in parts by weight as follows: 40-50 parts of thermoplastic aromatic polyester, 25-30 parts of zinc borate, 10-15 parts of lithopone, 5-10 parts of a cold-resistant plasticizer, 4-5 parts of an antiager, 5-8 parts of an inorganic activator, 1-3 parts of an antioxidant and 2-4 parts of a stabilizer. The solar photovoltaic cable sheath material has the following beneficial effects: the component ratio is scientific and reasonable, the inorganic activator and the cold-resistant plasticizer can effectively enhance the stability of a sheath, by means of addition of the other substances, the cable sheath is endowed with resistance to high and low temperature and good flame retardance, and the service life of the cable sheath is prolonged greatly.
