The invention belongs to the technical field of discarded metal catalyst regeneration and discloses a catalyst regeneration device based on microwave decoking. The device comprises a microwave source, a circulator, an electric tuner, a rectangular waveguide short-circuit piston and a quartz reaction chamber which are connected with each other in turn; a resonant cavity is formed in the rectangular waveguide; the quartz reaction chamber is located in the resonant cavity and is used for accommodating the inactivated noble metal catalyst and ventilating; the microwave emitted from the microwave source passes by the circulator and the electric tuner and then is reflected by the short-circuit piston and is oscillated in the resonant cavity so as to form a local strong electric field; the coke attached to the noble metal catalyst is heated and oxidized into gas under microwave effect or falls off under the air disturbance, so that the noble metal catalyst can recover activity. The invention also relates to a catalyst regeneration method based on microwave decoking. According to the invention, the use ratio and regeneration efficiency of the catalyst are increased, the energy is saved and the operation is simpler.
