A mechanical characteristic meter for a one-piece test of a handcart switch comprises a control module, a memory module, a mode switching module and a relay module. When a male aviation plug of the handcart switch is matched with a female aviation plug of the mechanical characteristic meter in a plug-in manner, the control module matches the model of the handcart switch and the position information of eight contact pins with memory information in the memory module, and in case of successful matching, the control module controls the mode switching module to switch to a connection mode corresponding to the model to further control a relay coil of the relay module to be powered on or off to realize connection and disconnection of a relay node, so that switching between different connection modes can be realized. The mechanical characteristic meter has the following advantages: the application range is wide, the efficiency is improved, manpower is saved, the carrying is convenient, the operation is easy, the performance is stable, high safety is achieved, and the one-piece test of the handcart switch is realized.
