The invention discloses a decision-making method of turbine performance maintenance, including the ability to improve the operational life of a turbomachinery, such as a gas turbine system or a steam turbine system, a pump, or a compressor. The invention provides processes and systems that include technical analysis as well as business analysis of the risks associated with reliable and efficient continuous operation of the turbomachinery and/or the extension of certain recommended limits (eg, ignition hours, number of starts). The decision-making method can also achieve logistics efficiency by enabling existing components to operate continuously and extend the limits. In the manner, the components do not have to undergo replacement or repairing.
