The present invention ensures a sufficient adjustable range of a kneading degree by sufficiently narrowing a flow passage. According to the present invention, two screws are rotatable about first rotation shafts, and a pair of gate rods 5 are provided to face each other with the two screws 4 interposed therebetween, and are rotatable about second rotation shafts A2. Each of the pair of gate rods has two concave portions 9. The concave portions 9 facing each other form a space through which each of the two screws passes. Each of the pair of gate rods 5 has: a first contact surface 21 that makes surface contact with the corresponding screw 4 when the gate rod 5 is rotated to a minimum opening degree position at which a flow passage area formed with the screw 4 is minimum; large diameter portions 24 and 27 each fitted in a groove of a cylinder 4; and a small diameter portion 25 having a curvature radius which is equal to a half of an inter-axial distance between the two second rotation shafts A2 and which is smaller than those of the large diameter portions 24 and 27. The small diameter portions 25 of the pair of gate rods are in contact with each other.
